Boomer
In my opinion the most reliable source for news is "The Associated Press". The Associated Presshttp://www.ap.org/-As the backbone of the world's information system, The Associated Press serves 5,000 radio and television stations and 1,700 newspapers in the United States, and an additional 8,500 radio, television and newspaper subscribers in 121 countries overseas. More than one billion people count on this media Goliath to supply their news to them every day, 24 hours a day. The least reliable source for news in my opinion is "ALJAZEERA" ALJAZEERAhttp://www.aljazeera.net/http://english.aljazeera.net/HomePage-These guys are low lives, scum of the earth. If you want fair and balanced don't look here. If you want bogus news, stories and facts, look no further. Some of there interviews are staged and they love to print anti-american and anti-israeli news (propaganda). They are definally a one-sided news source. Gryph
There is no one most reliable news source. You have to get the stories from different people to get a good view of things. That's what I do. From AP to Al Jazeera, I like to know what's going on.
random guy
Well, technically the most reliable news source is Routers, because so much news passes through there that you're getting 24 hour round the clock updates. But I'm guessing you have to be a journalist to have access to Routers services. The most reliable source of news in Australia is probably ABC news ( http://www.abc.net.au/news ) because the ABC is a public broadcaster, and as such it (and perhaps SBS news) are the only sources that are not affected by market interests - all their funding comes from the government (although governents keep slashing their funding and accusing them of bias). All the other news sources in Australia, pretty much, are owned by four giant media monopolies. For least reliable, there's alot out there, from what I've heard I'd be tempted to say Fox news but I've never seen a broadcast so I can't make a judgement, so I'll say the Naked News. Sure it's entertaining, but I wouldn't exactly trust that show to keep me informed of breaking news, plus for some reason it seems so much harder to pay attention to that news. Oh dear Well, everyone in Aus knows that Murdoch is not the most unbiased or ethical of news media owers, but you wouldn't think he'd come out and TELL you he manufactured news!
