Sultan Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 There's a post on madridc that says Shenmue works with glitches in the CURRENT chankast. Wonder how they did it? Go check out the pic of the glitch. its great MadriDC
Agozer Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 What a great glitch. I want to see more games bugging out like that.
Gryph Posted June 4, 2004 Posted June 4, 2004 All games should have bug eye feature. That was awesome!
Sultan Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 Just tried a custom rip of Border Down and Ikaruga on one CD. works perfectly for both games. The selection screen is done through the DC web browser, and chankast handled that fine as well.
emsley Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 So what ya reckon, is theis emulator going to be good?Or doe's it still need a lot of work?
Sultan Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 Blue Submarine No. 6: Time and Tide --Working. Some audio and graphical glitches. Only played through the city screens. I didn't have the patience to get toa point in the story where I could actually go out in the sub. But I would definatley put it down as playable. emsley: This is an alpha release, so it does need a lot of work. Fortunately the authors are hard at work on the next version. I have a feeling this emulator will start to have a finished look in no time at all. What they have done so far is incredibly impressive.
emsley Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 Sounds good to me [well reads], i think i will wait a wile, probsblie get into power stone.
Sultan Posted June 8, 2004 Posted June 8, 2004 Chu Chu Rocket = NOT workingVery interesting errors on this. There's no music (since that is CDDA) but there are also no mice! You win every board instantly because of this!

Apparently the developers haven't figured out how and where the DC loads the mice placements. http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2000-02-16&res=l Edited June 8, 2004 by Agozer
