ken_cinder
Anyone else had problems with the control config not working?I can load up a game and sit and watch the purdy main menu (Headhunter is what I'm trying atm) but there seem to be NO default keys so I can't even press START, and the control config refuses to open for me. Soundboz
I know this sounds stupid, but it stumped me for a while... hit the button (for example, U on the keyboard), press enter, then click on the button (dreamcast) you want to assign 'U' to. :\
iq_132
Works fine here... I have a MS sidewinder (one of the authors probably does as well). The only problem I have is that it maps the analog controls to the d-padwhich I hate...
ken_cinder
I tried it in Win2k and it works fine. Why it's not working in XP........I don't know.

ken_cinder
Yeah I figured that out awhile ago. I had to configure my controls in 2k and copy things over to my XP partition. The control config is terrible, it's ass backwards. Double click a key and then select a button. That and it should store your controls in a config file local to the emulator (in the same folder)
ffynnon
Has someone figured out the PS controller layout? I can't get the movement keys to map either. Are the first four keys showing up as garbage for everyone else? Am I to assume they are: updownleftright ???
axledentaldj
You look at the chankast.cfg, its only saving the Drive info. Wish it saved more stuff. Anyone able to get a vms game save to work from a downloaded game save from www.gamefaqs.com.? Like Marvel vs Capcom 2 game save? Its somehow combined within the vms.bin file on this nice Chankast Emu?So far, runing, slow a bit, MvsC2, Psyvariar2 on my Shuttle XPC SB51G Pnet. 4 1.7Ghz 256SDRAM PC via ifromt he alcohol120 virtual drive feature. ken_cinder
If you want to map your controllers, use Joy2Key (Google for it). Don't try and map your controllers within Chankast's config, it's far from ready for that.
