maninderb Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 Hi, I just had a problem with my bittorrent. Why is my upload speed greater than my download speed. My upload speed goes at 8 kbps and my download speed goes at around 2-4kbps. I know I have slow internet, but it really pisses my off that other people steal my internet and I only get to download at such a small rate while others get it at a much higher rate than mine. I'm to share my internet speed for upload speeds it would piss me off if it went more than 4kbps. Is there a way to change that? I'm using the newest bittorrent program and to download capcom vs. snk pro for dreamcast, I gotta wait for 19 hours. Screw that, I know I can get a much better speed. someone please help me!
Agozer Posted June 5, 2004 Posted June 5, 2004 (edited) You can set the upload speed limit in most BitTorrent clients. The download speed itself is based on available Seeds and Leechers. Edited June 5, 2004 by Agozer
maninderb Posted June 6, 2004 Author Posted June 6, 2004 Yeah but how, the only time bittorrent opens up is when I'm about to download something.
Wizard Posted June 6, 2004 Posted June 6, 2004 Go get a different client like ABC or something if you want to control it.
