Wizard Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 P4s don't even get hot on passive cooling (no fan). Only the 3.0+ GHz p4s need fan cooling. Practically anything lower can be done passively. And what build is your SP2? Are you using the RC versions or the Leaked beta ones?
Gryph Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 This may be a long shot and is probably not the problem but make sure you have no IRQ conflicts. That caused my computer to freeze a lot when I first built it.
