ken_cinder Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 It's been said that late model Dreamcasts don't work with the Mil-data (Data/Data) selfboot method, there is none that simply don't read backups. Besides, most every selfboot backup is Audio/Data anyway, and even if your DC won't do Mil-Data, just use a bootdisc (None of them are Mil-Data format)

BlackKnight Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 No, CVS2 for dreamcast never made it over.wait but i saw cvs2 in ebay.. here is the link.could u check it out? cvs2 ebay weblink I think he means never made it over to America. That one on Ebay is NTSC, but it could still be Jap NTSC. Having said that, I'm sure there is an english CvS2 for Dreamcast isn't there?
Jitx Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 I love my first generation JP Dreamcast, since it plays American and JP games without a bootdisk
Wizard Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 No, CVS2 for dreamcast never made it over.wait but i saw cvs2 in ebay.. here is the link.could u check it out? cvs2 ebay weblink That could be a fake. Because it was never released in english. Infact, the the picture of the game there is the Japanese cover with the Black-american dreamcast logo.
Gryph Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 Well a lot of the game is in English except the speech text like win quotes and the command list. The menus and the rest are all in English.
Cominus Posted June 12, 2004 Posted June 12, 2004 No, CVS2 for dreamcast never made it over.wait but i saw cvs2 in ebay.. here is the link.could u check it out? cvs2 ebay weblink There was never an american version, period. Never will be, besides the whole damn game isn't even in japanese, just the "story mode" which doesn't matter cuz it's not like cvs2 had a real good story anyways.
