mashakos
(1998)Back in the day when the Dreamcast first came out there were a few titles that made the system a must-have: Sonic AdventureResident Evil: Code VeronicaSword of the BerserkEcco the DolphinCrazy Taxi And then there were the upcoming titles... Soul CaliberHouse of The Dead 2Dead or Alive 2Shenmue and Shenmue II Reading reviews about these games on the net and looking at pics made me feel that the Dreamcast had a ton of original games (at the time). Ofcourse, not having the financial ability to buy the DC back then made it into an enigma until the PS2 came and the DC disappeared without a trace. (2004)Now with Chankast I can go back and see what i missed. So i head over to the shops and look up the old DC titles... and I don't find much!!Were there only 10 great games on the Dreamcast? Or were there more? Who's got memories of a great DC game? Nothing from SNK guys, those are ports and some are available even on the PSX.
Agozer
What about Jet Grind Radio?
Gryph
SNK had an arcade perfect port of Garou...but I'm sure you have the ROM for that. Here are the ones I enjoy the most: Sonic Adventure 1 and 2SFIII:TSCapcom vs. SNK 2Soul CaliburProject JusticeCode VeronicaVirtua Tennis 2K2Marvel vs. Capcom 2Power Stone 2 And I'm trying to get Soul Reaver, Jet Grind Radio, and Shenmue 1 and 2. That should complete my DC game collection.
mashakos
How could I forget Jet Grind Radio ? Maybe just wanted to keep the statement "Are There More Than 10 Good Dc Games ?" All the games you listed are great GryphonKlaw except one: Project Justice. It's a good game but the dreamcast version wasn't overly unique, just cleaner gfx. Nothing wrong with that except PS2 has games like Rival Schools 3 which are cleaned up versions of the arcade games but then the PS2 has 1000's of games like that. I'm trying to see if there was a large enough number of cool Dreamcast only games or games with features that were unique to the Dreamcast. Don't know about Powerstone 2 but I'll take your word that it's a good game. So now the number is bumped up to 17 The list up till now: Sonic AdventureResident Evil: Code VeronicaSword of the BerserkEcco the DolphinCrazy TaxiSoul CaliberJet Grind RadioHouse of The Dead 2Dead or Alive 2ShenmueShenmue IISonic Adventure 2SFIII:TSCapcom vs. SNK 2Virtua Tennis 2K2Marvel vs. Capcom 2Power Stone 2 Edited June 15, 2004 by mashakos

mashakos
What about Zombie Revenge ? Reading the old reviews and there is some praise for the game. Virtua Fighter 3 was amazing at the arcades but how is VF3 TB on the Dreamcast ? Can't believe AM2 released a crap game! I'm referring to Virtua Striker 2.And the first one was one of my favourites How about fighting Vipers 2 ? worth it ?

Anyway, I could list more than a 100 excellent DC games, but I'm too lazy, instead go look on this site to get some good ideas. The only SNK ports that were on the DC were:KOF`98KOF`99(exactly the same as the PS1 port)200020012002(Added King and Shingo and survival mode and something else.)The Last Blade 2 (First one was on PS1) There's also Garou: Mark of the wolves, Twinkle Star Sprites and Cool Cool Toon (not a port but still an SNK game). mashakos
I think I meant Street Fighter EX3, not Rival Schools 3. Wasn't paying attention there. I pointed out Project Justice 2 on the DC because it's not a huge improvement gameplay wise from the PSX version. The site lists a great selection of games Sane. Just what I was looking for.
