Gryph Posted June 15, 2004 Author Posted June 15, 2004 When EXACTLY is GMail going to come out, again? I can't remember. Anon.I don't know but one of my friends has a beta account. I haven't seen it yet since he is away at school but he sent us his email address.
AntiWinner22 Posted June 15, 2004 Posted June 15, 2004 Wait. I just realized something. WHO IN THE HELL NEEDS 1GB!!?? I mean, really. 1 GB is just insane. I can barely fill 20MB, much less 50 times that amount. But I will get a Gmail account. Why? I love Google. Anon.
Agozer Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 But I will get a Gmail account. Why? I love Google. Yeah, screw Microsoft and their.NET Passport and Hotmail and whatnot. Google all the way!

Sultan Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 My Yahoo mailbox is up to 2GB now. Must be because Yahoo is my ISP and so not the free service. At least I won't have to get a gmail account now!

Sultan Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 good question. I'll test it out later. Right now their servers are having a ton of problems. Its a nice upgrade, but not a smooth one.
Weirdy Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 wtf? they're my isp too but I still get the 100mbs, why? are you paying more?
random guy Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 The problem with gmail is that you are UNABLE to delete emails after they are sent. Sure that won't matter to alot of people, but if you email anyone about any illicit activity or vice versa the gov't can get an order to raid your email account and the incriminating evidence is guaranteed to still be there.
ugenn Posted June 16, 2004 Posted June 16, 2004 Anyone here but me having problems accessing the new and "improved" Yahoo mail? All I get after login is a blank page.
