mashakos
GameCop mentioned in the Chankast Compatibility thread that Cosmic Smash "Functions perfect". I recently bought the GDROM (what the heck, it's only $10 ) and downloaded the JAP version. I performed the Echelon 2000 "burn 2 CD'S" procedure to make a self boot CD (which I've done successfully with 3 other games ) and tried it on Chankast. The game didn't boot and I got the CD Player screen. So I tried the DOA2 LE technique (the one i posted a tutorial on) and tested that self boot image. Chankast just hanged after displaying the SEGA logo. Has anybody got this game running? and if they did how ?
Soundboz
I just used a regular backup, selfboot. After some black screens, it should show the guy (cosmic or something) and you should be able to play it. It doesn't function perfectly, but, it's certainly playable
mashakos
What version did you have? PAL NTSC JAP ? The weird thing is that after the SEGA logo appears, the whole emulator freezes - the menus don't respond, the fps counter stops. I'm using daemon tools 3.33 to mount the image, what are you using ?Could be daemon tools...
