hey. since most of you guys drive, (right?) i was wondering have you guys ever fixed a casette deck in your car before?

bc i have a problem with my tape player.

after i put in the tape and everything, i press the tape direction changer..it changes for about 1 or 2 sec and goes back to its original direction..

anyone know how to fix this??.. been trying to fix this for a long timeee :(

A cassette player...damn...I don't have one of those in my car. I don't know anyone that has a cassette player, just CD players.

My old car used to have one, but like Mr. G said, it's just CD players nowadays.

yeah cd player here. but it sounds like the tape is to tight. as the auto reverse works off tension. when the tape resists teh player it reverses.

i just found out that the problem was , there were pieces of stuck film tapes from before.. i guess long time ago the tape got jammed and someone could have forced it to take it out and so ripped the tape film.. i just need to get the casette deck out and clean that mess up.. =)

and oh.i didn't have enough money to buy a new deckwith cdplayer.and so i bought a sony cdplayer with car kit.. and that is why i need the tape player :)

You need Xzibit to Pimp Your Ride, a cassette player, come on man.

He said he uses a CD player car kit so its basically the same. Basically.

Except that we used to use a discman with a car kit - until we got the 'new' car, which had 6-channel stereo and a 12-disc changer. That's a bit of an improvement.
