.mdf File, How To Play?

I had a question. I'm downloading "The Thing", game from the PC games section from suprnova. While I download, I look in the folder where it's going to save, and there's a file called "thing.mdf" and another file called "thing.mds". So when I'm done downloading, what do I do to make it work? It's a PC game. Can anyone help me please?

I think you can open those in ISObuster.

 

And you can covert them to an ISO with MagicISO.

that was created with alcohol 120%. download that and use it to burn the cd (or just mount it to a virtual drive)
