someboddy
O.K., I figured out that you need to burn it in UDF format, so the "defalut.xbe" file is in the root directory, and the roms are at the "ROMS" directory. I did it with xboyadvance and Nero 5, but my box refuse to reconize the disc. I bout it modded. What's the flucking problem?
ShastaOrange
Make it into an ISO and burn the ISO - it's pretty hard to screw that up. Download Quix or Craxtion. They'll basically just ask you what folder is the root of your disc, and then make the ISO for you. They're real easy to use.
someboddy
Do I need a dashboard (Don't know what it means)?
ShastaOrange
A dashboard lets you launch programs and games from your hard drive and many other things. The default Xbox dashboard is the MS Dash - the screen you get when you turn the Xbox on without a disc in it, that lets you change the date & stuff. You don't need any kind of special dash to play an emulator disc.
someboddy
O.K., so lets see. I put the emulator in an ISO using Quix or Craxtion, so default.xbe is in the root dir. Then I burn the ISO using Nero 5 in UDF format. Is that the way?
someboddy
It works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, ShastaOrange, I own you one. One more question. Can you add roms to the disc after you burn it?
ShastaOrange
No, you can't. You have to close the session on the disc, and after that, you cannot write to it again. You can, however, use a CD/RW or DVD/RW and just erase the contents and reburn it with more ROMs.

Goenitz
the dvd/rw of course is if you have a samsung. if it's not a pain for you, i'd FTP the emulator with the roms to the HDD first, so you know what you have and if your setup is correct.
