jeffkong Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 I downloaded a.RAR file that contained files in it called file.svc530 bytes file.00119 MB file.00219 MB file.00319 MB file.00419 MB file.00519 MB file.0067.33 MB How do I get a single file from these. I have WinRAR installed but WinRAR doesn't recognize the files, atleast in the sense that I can't click on one of the files, click extract and have them all as one file.
Wizard Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 the files are split, winrar should unrar them all starting from the 001/r01. If that doesn't work, open each one in winrar and unrar every single one.
jeffkong Posted June 23, 2004 Author Posted June 23, 2004 hmmm... for some reason I could only extract them while running WinRAR. Well it's extracted and is a single file now.
Agozer Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 WinRAR only puts file extensions to.rar and.r01- ~ The only way to open.001 and so on is to run WinRAR and open the archive from there.
