I use Windows Media Player 9 for my music and stuff, but as of late its stopped playing MIDI format music, anyone know how to fix this problem??

You have to got options and set the associations again. Did another program steal MIDIs?

Well, if the problem is about file associations, that doesn't mean that the midis won't play...I think one can set the associations again from the Media Player settings.

Its not the associations, tryed that. Its just the MIDI's look like they are playing, there is no error message or anything, they just dont play...

All I can say is, check your volume settings (and not just the global volume).

but but but but but but I like WMP....

Only other thing I can see is using another program, I have to use quicktime for MIDIs for now which sucks. I'm sure theres a way to fix it, I just don't know what it is.
