toto321
How do I get rid of the website ad and the "do not play emu if you dont own game" message that appears while the rom is loading? When I change to a different skin that has a different font, the font for those messages change as well so that means its not embedded into the background so Im guessing there is a way. I want it to just say "Now Loading" instead. Anyone know how? I already looked thru all the ini files.

Prican25
if you compile your own version you can get rid of it also i remember someone in x-s forums made a patch to get rid of it but dunno if that will work for the current versions. even in my compile i have their site (out of respect to gogo and his work) but i also mention 1emu since this is where you'll find me most Edited June 28, 2004 by Prican25
toto321
Do i really need to compile my own version just to get rid of a few lines of text? Im sure theres a simpler way of doing it. Just tell me what to do plz. Id search for that patch on x-s but the search function is always down
Prican25
yes i'm sorry to say so; maybe you can bring it up on gogo's forum and see if he might change it or add an option to get rid of it.
