jeffkong Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 I have a.nrg file (a Nero disc image file) I want to convert it to a.bin file. How?
StriderVM Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Hmmm... My way.... (I'm a simpleton.... =P ) Install Daemon ToolsInstall a BIN/ISO Creation program (Alcohol)Load the NRG file in Daemon ToolsCopy the "loaded" CD with the BIN'/ISO creation program.
jeffkong Posted June 30, 2004 Author Posted June 30, 2004 Alcohol 120% creates a.MDS file. Is there a way that it will create a.bin file?
Gryph Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 Try this: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/28930 That might do it.
jeffkong Posted June 30, 2004 Author Posted June 30, 2004 When I try to use the now.bin file an error appears saying "Wrong CUE File format 3" and is unusable. Is there a way to fix this?

gavin19 Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 I think WinISO and ISObuster are more popular but I use UltraISO as it includes Nero burn. Anyway it lets u convert almost any image file to bin/cue/iso. I did use it once for nrg>iso but Im positive that it will let u convert to bin/cue as well.
Ghosty Posted July 1, 2004 Posted July 1, 2004 Well I've Used WinIso But Not IsoBuster, And I Found That UltraIso Is Better Than Win Iso, For Some Strange Reason.

A cue file is to help.bin files burn. You can always burn the.bin file directly, but making a cue file helps because you don't have to set anything up TO burn it, just load it up and burn, with bin you have to check the way you have to burn it so it could run.
