Jjangthekid Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 is there anything like daemon tools for ps..? im pretty sure you can't use daemon tools for ps emulator..(epsxe?) and if so.. how can i change the files to.cdi or.whate.ver.. thanks in advance
Wizard Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Yes you can use Damon tools for epsxe. Mount the image and run. No need to change the image to another file typejust choose "All Files" when you get your open dailog.
Jjangthekid Posted July 2, 2004 Author Posted July 2, 2004 ok buti have a ff9 cd, the actual playstation game. and is there a way for me to convert that into an image file?
Jjangthekid Posted July 2, 2004 Author Posted July 2, 2004 sorry for double posting..but i found it..im using isobuster..thanks for the help kdash.
Wizard Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 It's ok, you don't need to turn it into an image. Regular PS1 cds work on a normal drives.
someboddy Posted July 4, 2004 Posted July 4, 2004 Get nero and burn your files, but instend of burning after you select the files click on file/save as and save your image.
Jiggs Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 Don't use Nero. Nero disc images of PSX games cause some people problems, as I learned the hard way. Instead, get Alcohol 120%. It's much better for this kind of work, anyway.
kaioshade Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 Why on earth would you want to use daemon tools anyway for psone isos? just about EVERY worthwhile ps2 emulator supports isos directly, no need for daemon tools.
Weirdy Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 Don't use Nero. Nero disc images of PSX games cause some people problems, as I learned the hard way. Instead, get Alcohol 120%. It's much better for this kind of work, anyway.heh heh, for some reason it's the other way around for me I'm thinking of uninstalling Alcohol
Wizard Posted July 10, 2004 Posted July 10, 2004 A120% has been known to have problems with older CDRW Burners. It's never actually, fully functional and all, worked on me until I got my new burner.
Tsukiyo Posted August 19, 2004 Posted August 19, 2004 I find that daemon tools and Alcohol 120% or nero works great for epsxe.
