Hiroshi Nohara Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Um....my Bittorrent client (Bittornado) keeps on SNUBBING everybody. There are, like, 24 peers in this torrent, and every one of them except two are snubbed. Why is it like this? My download and upload speeds are all suffering because of this! I like Azureus as well, but the problem is that the program ALWAYS uploads at 5 KB/s and downloads at 20KB/s for me. OK, so that's good, but that hurts my share ratio a lot. I told it that it could use up to 11KB/s of my upstream bandwith, but why does it only use half of it?Need screenshots? I'll post them if you want... with the IP addresses blacked out of course.
Wizard Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 Fiddle around with the settings. This is why I hate other clients.
Gryph Posted July 2, 2004 Posted July 2, 2004 In Bittornado, put the Upload limit and Speed limit to its highest. Also, try using a setting higher than your actual internet speed, for example if you have 384 kbps broadband, put the setting for.5 mbps. That might work...
Hiroshi Nohara Posted July 3, 2004 Author Posted July 3, 2004 (edited) whoa. That netted me 5 KB/s. Strange...I gues I shouldn't be trusting programs and their settings too much now.ADD: GryphonKlaw, thank you! My torrent is alive again... Edited July 3, 2004 by Hiroshi Nohara
