Gryph
MAME is only an arcade emulator (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator). NRX, Kawaks, Nebula, FBA are MVS and AES emulators. SSV:Special isn't new news, infact it's old. It was supposed to have those characters and "fatality" moves. And can't you play as Ga-Oh, Yumeji, and Sankuro if you mess with dip-switches? Wizard
I hope we can get back on track on why SNKP must ruined the console ports. Edited July 13, 2004 by K`dash
Agozer
I hope we can get back on track on why SNKP must ruined the console ports.Let's. SNKP fears that excess blood will tarnish their image among teenage gamers and their parents....yeah right.
Wizard
Chances are of the U.S. and Europe seeing a complete, uncensord port of it is practically unlikely as it is since SNKP shafted the fans yet again(SS2, REMEMBER SS2!?). I'll email the good folks at SNK Neo-Geo U.S.A. and ask if they will release SSZS Uncensord unlike it's AES Brotheren. Ben Harper's a nice guy, he respones to emails concerning stuff like this. Sybarite Paladin AxL
What was wrong with Samurai Spirits 2 AES? And I'm still confused if NRX, Kawaks, Nebula and the rest are both AES and MVS emus than what are ou roms AES or MVS?

The romsets contain both the MVS and AES data (why else would the emulators let you change between Arcade and Console?), since the Neo-Geo console ports were done directly from the arcade ones. (Only the Main Menu + possible censoring are the differences). Edited July 13, 2004 by Agozer
Wizard
NEO-GEO Roms are the AES/MVS roms. NRX is a Neo-Geo RomNebula and Kawaks are CPS1/2/Neo-Geo Mame is everything thats made before 2000
