Snesgamer Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 Technically, shouldn't No$GBA have been ALWAYS free? lol. It doesn't really make sense charging for something that implies with its title that it's free. It's like how Netzero started charging for their services.
Sybarite Paladin AxL Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 which is the best gba emu around in terms of compatibility?
Agozer Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 which is the best gba emu around in terms of compatibility?VisualBoy Advance (the one that was modified by kode54 after v1.7.2)

Swithin Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 The last official VBA had some major slowdowns for Wintel systems. The continuations offer speedups and some bug-fixes. No$GBA is *much* faster than *any* version of VBA. It's also tiny. The down-side is that it isn't very customizable, and has some odd crashes. Best emu depends on your system. I've got 256MB of RAM, an Athlon XP 1800+, and a GeForce 3 - and VBA can't run smoothly. It just can't. If it *could*, however...
Agozer Posted October 29, 2004 Posted October 29, 2004 Yes, No$GBA is faster, but does it really matter if you've got the computer power?
