ugenn Posted August 14, 2004 Share Posted August 14, 2004 (edited) Anyone got this to work on NRX ECGC? I've gotten the fixed P1 but I it ends up with garbled graphics on the "How to Play" screen and the character selection is screwed up. My romset currently looks like this: Length  Method   Size  Ratio  Date  Time  CRC-32   Name --------  ------  ------- -----  ----  ----  ------   ---- 8388608  Stored  8388608  0%  01-13-04 23:11  e42fc226  kof2k3_c1.rom 8388608  Stored  8388608  0%  01-13-04 23:11  1b5e3b58  kof2k3_c2.rom 8388608  Stored  8388608  0%  01-13-04 23:11  d334fdd9  kof2k3_c3.rom 8388608  Stored  8388608  0%  01-13-04 23:11  0d457699  kof2k3_c4.rom 8388608  Stored  8388608  0%  01-13-04 23:12  8a91aae4  kof2k3_c5.rom 8388608  Stored  8388608  0%  01-13-04 23:13  9f8674b8  kof2k3_c6.rom 8388608  Stored  8388608  0%  01-13-04 23:12  374ea523  kof2k3_c7.rom 8388608  Stored  8388608  0%  01-13-04 23:13  75211f4d  kof2k3_c8.rom  131072  Stored  131072  0%  01-27-04 13:07  396e17cd  kof2k3_m1.rom 8388608  Stored  8388608  0%  07-16-04 16:45  8740e1a5  kof2k3_p1.rom  131072  Stored  131072  0%  03-04-04 21:10  7c7829aa  kof2k3_s1.rom 4194304  Stored  4194304  0%  01-13-04 23:14  d2b8aa5e  kof2k3_v1.rom 4194304  Stored  4194304  0%  01-13-04 23:14  71956ee2  kof2k3_v2.rom 4194304  Stored  4194304  0%  01-13-04 23:14  ddbbb199  kof2k3_v3.rom 4194304  Stored  4194304  0%  01-13-04 23:14  01b90c4f  kof2k3_v4.rom Edited August 14, 2004 by ugenn Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ratio = 0%? Ratio is the compression percentage. I created the zip with no compression to speed up my tests, so the ratios show as 0%. edit: if your CRCs are the same, then I suspect it could be my BIOS. My bios look like this: Length  Method   Size  Ratio  Date  Time  CRC-32   Name --------  ------  ------- -----  ----  ----  ------   ----  65536  Stored   65536  0%  09-20-01 15:47  e09e253c  000-lo.lo  131072  Stored  131072  0%  11-23-02 17:48  d27a71f1  AES-BIOS.BIN  131072  Stored  131072  0%  05-20-03 05:37  91b64be3  asia-s3.rom  65536  Stored   65536  0%  10-12-01 19:20  e09e253c  ng-lo.rom  131072  Stored  131072  0%  03-06-98 16:21  354029fc  ng-sfix.rom  131072  Stored  131072  0%  10-25-98 14:33  97cf998b  ng-sm1.rom  131072  Stored  131072  0%  03-06-98 16:21  354029fc  sfix.sfx  131072  Stored  131072  0%  10-28-98 22:58  97cf998b  sm1.sm1  131072  Stored  131072  0%  04-17-03 17:14  2723a5b5  sp-e.sp1  131072  Stored  131072  0%  03-01-00 21:17  acede59c  sp-j2.rom  131072  Stored  131072  0%  07-17-00 17:23  c7f2fa45  sp-s.sp1  131072  Stored  131072  0%  12-03-97 15:54  9036d879  sp-s2.sp1  131072  Stored  131072  0%  11-11-02 15:07  0ce453a0  uni-bios.10  131072  Stored  131072  0%  03-10-03 22:26  5dda0d84  uni-bios.11  131072  Stored  131072  0%  07-28-03 17:33  e19d3ce9  uni-bios.12  131072  Stored  131072  0%  05-18-03 22:28  e72943de  usa_2slt.bin  131072  Stored  131072  0%  11-22-95 00:44  f0e8f27d  vs-bios.rom Are yours similar? Agozer Posted August 14, 2004 Share Posted August 14, 2004 (edited) Well, since you use the MAME Neo-Geo BIOS, I can't compare. :\ NRX only works properly with the "original Neo-Geo BIOS or the Universe BIOS. ugenn Posted August 15, 2004 Share Posted August 15, 2004 I figured out the problem. My copy of NRX EGCG was buggy. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If that gives you a CRC inconsistency, download a patch from poirot's site: http://www.cheats4kawaks.hpg.com.br Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
