Weirdy Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Barnito hosts the site from off of his ftp (and his comp as well)
Gryph Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Because Cassini is touted as open source when it was just a hack of a copyrighted program. Just now on Yahoo! I saw the word Cassini and I was like "Whoa! Cassini is this big now!!" But it was about the international spacecraft.
cypher35 Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 it doesn't look like snail has any intention of responding... when something looks too good to be true, it usually is; i officially declare this emulator dead
Keith Posted July 16, 2004 Author Posted July 16, 2004 (edited) I made my final statements ragarding this until the issues can be resolved. People can believe what they want to believe in, this is what I believe in.. http://www.emufanatics.com/news.php?func=view&id=452 Edited July 16, 2004 by Keith
Runik Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 NOTE: We do not advocate piracy. The emulator is intended to play legal backups of games people already own...People can't use their originals in cassini ? How come ?I can use originals in my own emu without any problems...
Agozer Posted July 16, 2004 Posted July 16, 2004 Ok, so GameCop finally took the forum down. Good job. More than 24 hours had already passed I think.

Celestria Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 if you ask me thats why girigun emu was considersd abdondware THEY gave up on it. and plsu the name cassini wasnt just slaped on there if you actually took the time to read the cassini history you would find out that this emu was made from ground up useing girguns idea's , its kinda like how the company BASF dont make stuff they just make it better
Celestria Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 (edited) if anything the girgin team should be happy somebody is keeping thier code still alive Edited July 18, 2004 by Celestria
Gryph Posted July 18, 2004 Posted July 18, 2004 I don't think you read very carefully or saw the alleged source code. It is a disassembled GiriGiri exe file.
