Sprite Ripping from Mame isn't that good. It is kind of strange though since I lose some pixels that were meant to be part of the character

If you used the Photoshop application, you can take out sections with the magic wand/cropping tool or w/e its called. Its the fastest way to remove stuff but it removes some pixels in the process :/

Oh, right, I get it. I never was much of a photoshopper.

I prefer Paint shop over Photoshop personally. But photoshop can handle transparencies. Maybe I'll try Paint shop Pro

if your editing animated gifs... you should be in image ready not photoshop
