Dvd encoder

I have a DVD rom.

Previously, I can use it to watch my DVD movie.

But after a spate of virus attack and harddisk format, I found that I can't watch DVD again. When I try using Windows Media Player 9, it said that I need to buy

the DVD encoder. Is there a way to solve this without buying the DVD encoder?

Get Media Player Classic.

Also sometimes your videocard will come with a dvd encoder (Most Radeon cards) so you may have it sitting somewhere you didn't even know

 

But like K'Dash said, Media Player Classic plays DVD's

Media Player Classic is the crap. It plays basically everything, and it's what I use exclusively.
