Thraxen
(I want to keep my xbox...) Is there an important risk in overclocking CPU all the time ? I think it's just overclocking the emulated CPU, not the actual CPU in the Xbox. Should be no risk.
gage85
I believe the disable blocked 0 thing is just for fbaxxx to recognice the new sets (mslug5, samsho5, etc...)doesn't fix the problem of the neogeo games bsod'ing. At first my games didnt want to load. Then after I changed the numbers not only did the banned games show up all of my neo geo games started to work. Disregard the above. To fix the problem switch sound interpolation to HQ mode. Edited July 31, 2004 by gage85
axledentaldj
The above normal Romcenter DAT is not a complete set for all Neogeo romset, cause I have samsho5.zip and svcplus.zip and its not in this above DAT. Ooh well. If you can FTP into your XBOX, grab you generated FBAXXX 07/30/2004 DAT files.
+ T +
The MAME DAT above includes the new romsets. Thanks Thraxen.

Yeah, FBAXXX has some bug where it won't generate the DAT files for the standard XBE after you enable the new sets. I tried and it just locks up when it says it's generating the DATS. I checked over at the FBAXXX site and other people have had the same problem.

U have to open the XBE with an hex editor to know the roms to use for the recent dumps : kof2003b instead of kof2003f, it uses the original bootleg 2 P roms ;kof2k3ba 's kof2003b with 512 K s1 with transparencies ;kof2k4ex 's kof 2003 Hero EX ;svcplush instead of svc boss... The other romsets 'R as in the previous vers.

When I tried to correct them against the dats it generated the roms were all listed as unknown. Ill be sticking with fbaxxx pr for now

zhugeliang
So I can use my roms from fbaxxx 6.04? It all seems just a bit confusing to me. The romsets that fbaxxx put out dont recognize my old roms at all. one more thing, whats the difference between the mame default and the normal one? am I supposed to delete one and keep the other? Could someone plz explain to me how to get the new version up plz? I would greatly appreciate it. TIA
