You must be using a loader because kawaks 1.49 does not have a dat.

Well in that case Kawaks can make a dat for romcenter or clrmame

What does Romcenter and clrmame do anyways? I've never fully explored them.

theyre ROM auditing tools. it tells you what youre having/missing in your ROMs for use with a specific emulator (MAME, FBA, Nebula, Kawaks or even a specific NRX hack if you have a DAT for it - you can even use DATs for Goodtools if youre collecting them). arcade-wise, this ensures that youll have working sets (unless otherwise noted)

sometimes in nebula u can run games through romcenter when u dont have the complete set and nebula wont let u run it
