[S4]The Phantom
For those illegal downloading bastards (looks around with shifty eyes),I know the idea is simple and stupid but I was wondering but when you install these games do they just dump the entire 1.5 gigs of game onto your computer and then your computer reads it as if you playing it on cd?Does this make your computer work harder or is there sounds or movie files that are lost in compression?are the files compressed? is that how they do it? can you burn them to a cd and play the game like normal?1. Sorry about being a bastard 2. Yes, they do read them as a CD because they're CD ISOs, specifically Bin/Cue formats this time. 3. Nothing is lost in nothing. 4. Computer works less in my opinion because I can play more with just batteries on my laptop. CD drive running like mad takes up a lot. 5. No, the files are not compressed. You can, though. 6. No, they make them into images - Virtual CDs so to speak. 7. Yes, you can burn them on a CD and play the game like "normal", and you can play "normal" without burning them as well, whatever your definition of "normal" is. Blindwrite Suite and Alcohol 120% are the frequently used application. Hope that answered your question, and welcome to the illicit world of sharing.
