Get the Catherdrel or whatever first, you have to convert people to use for your other structures. To convert people, pick one up and put him inside your castle, you can only convert one at a time though.

The cathedral, is that the temple?

Converting one at a time...Does that mean you cant jus keep picking em up and dropping em off inside your castle?

So what do the guys do after you drop em inside?

Should I fortify? What do the other structures do, like the archery thing?

You don't see anything. Once you have the temple, you can start dropping guys in your castle, they'll make a big light circle ray thing appear. When it's gone drop another in.

To use your archery range, click on the tower that holds archers. I think it's the one closest to you, and to the right. Clicking on it puts one of your converts there as an archer.

Don't do what I did and build everything but walls, then save up shitloads of money and spend it all on walls, because when you build a new wall you lose all your other stuff

You do? Huh...

Anywhey, does anyone know why I keep losing my wizards? At the level complete screen it just shows that 18 of my wizards were lost, for a reason I can't see. Except that it may be linked to my unit upkeep, which costed 1800. But if I paid their upkeep why would I lose them?
