2d psx games

I recently downloaded metal slug X and parodius forever, and when i try to run them using adripsx ILE 1.05, the game starts but does not make it past the 1st loading screen. Both the files are bin files, does anyone know what i should do to fix this?

What GPU plugin are you using?

lets see, im currently using pete's d3d driver 1.58 for gpu. for spu im using pete's dsound driver, for cdr im using sapu's cd rom plugin and tsg direct input for my pad

try this

 

for sound, use "spu eternal lite" (just a quick tip, nothing to do with the 2d games )

 

and for the video plug-in, try using PeOp's Soft Driver

 

if you ever plan on playing any Resident Evil/Biohazard games on any psx emu, you're going to have to use PeOp's no matter how high end your pc might be

Yeah I noticed too that PeOp's works better for 2D than pete's. By the way, unless adripsx has updated recently ePSXe is a better emulator so you might want to use that instead.

Yea i know epsxe is way better, im just roughin it on someone else's pc, ill give peop's a try and see what happens

well i tryed the other drivers, and adripsx still wont work, so i got epsxe for this pc and now it works fine, problem solved. Moral of the story, epsxe is just plain better i guess
