Weirdy Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 if you make a torrent file and you upload it to a tracker, then yes, it's possible establishing a really fast connection is a myster though, it depends on your guys's bandwidth
PLasticSlug Posted August 8, 2004 Author Posted August 8, 2004 but could i just make it specifically just for one personand how would i load it to him? Hmmmm would i make a seed and send him the torrent via emial?????just a guess
Agozer Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 (edited) You can't make a torrent with just one particular user in mind. That's not how BitTorrent works. If you really want to send him something, just send him the files. Edited August 8, 2004 by Agozer
Gryph Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 Bit torrent is meant to be a communal thing. Just send it through AIM or something, that is pretty fast.
SQrL Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 Yes, torrents work on "swarm" algorithms. You could always set yourself up as an ftp server and have him login/download the file(s).
