thedonjuan
remember the old school sierra games that you have to type the action on the keyboard to play.I have great memories of police quest and leisure suit larry.Do you think the adventure scene is dead.Day Of THE TENTACLE FOREVER
Gryph
Yes...those days were best. My favorite games like that were the Quest for Glory series and Leisure Suit Larry series. Sadly those days are pretty much dead...LucasArt's axed the two adventure game sequels this year (Full Throttle 2 and Sam and Max 2.) The occasion adventure game is made but never gets any press or hype which is sad.
Diso
They were cool. They're too complex for today's gamers. "Hello. How are you today: <Kill Man> "I'm sorry I do not understand that" <Rape Man> "I'm sorry I do not understand that" <Wtf> "I'm sorry I do not understand that" <Esc-quit> "I'm sorry I do not understand that" <Exec Aimbot.cfg> "I'm sorry I do not understand that"
Gryph
I always liked to type in swear words and the game would always have something clever to say.
Agozer
>Push Statue>Push Edna >Use Scalpel on Clown "To the Chono-John!" Old LucasArts adventure games rule so much. Sam & Max: Hit the Road is still one of my long-time favorites

Chaotica
They were always too difficult for me, I never knew what to type or do! They used to frustrate the hell out of me sometimes. Still classics, though. The Space Quest series were probably my favs.
Agozer
Mother Goose was my favorite when I was a kid... That game was easy. I'm still mad tht LucasArts canned the sequel to Sam & Max.
