graduate Non-Working roms to working?

Someone was telling me ClrMamePro does that but I tried and failed.

The roms are good but you have to teach mame to read the rom and what not.

Dunno...can someone help me? Thnx

you need to get the correct dat file to fix them, i personally use romcenter but yeah clr is just about the same thing.

but NSS Contra improved big time and NSS F-Zero and other Nintendo files doesn't even display. It keeps saying bad dumped rom.

Where's a good place to get up-to-date data files for roms?

if it was a bad rom dump then there is nothing you can do the rom is pretty much screwed i think you gotta try dl'in from somewhere else. as for dat files just do a google search for what set you need, like for mame or fbaxxx or kawa or whatever. if you use romcenter the mame dats come included when you first dl it. dats can only fix a game if it can be fixed tho, some roms are just screwed. i suggest dling the rom again

get non-working games working eh...just talk with the MAME team, and if you're a good programmer, maybe you can write some encryption for those games
