Wizard
Every game has taken it's share of Resident Evil-like Controls.
Agozer
Does SH4 going to have that crappy RE-like control, where instead of being able to run 360, up is forward, down is backward, and left and right turn?It has both. So did SH2 and SH3.

OverlordMondo
I prefer 2d, I don't see why everyone hates it. It's not hard to move at all. Using 3d controls is obviously easier, because you can turn around and run like a pansy quicker. But it's not in any way hard to use, I got it within a minute, and haven't had problems with it, or complained, since. Agozer
I use 2D in SH2 and SH3. I son't like the Re style 3D, since it leaves too much room for errors in tight spots, IMO.
