Yeah, me too. That's why I'm waiting on the next generation or maybe even 2 generations down the line before I upgrade my video card. nVidia just needs to get some drivers out that lets people play HL2 with DX9 and high frame rates.

I agree. That's what they get for teaming up with ATi. Although DX9 is sexy, I still like teh Open GL.

You're also forgetting the newest cards are available in PCI-Express flavours. There is ZERO point in grabbing an AGP variant of the newer cards, you should look at upgrading your motherboard to one that supports PCI-E if you're gonna blow the money on the latest and greatest video card. The difference between AGP 8x and PCI-E 16 is just huge.

Getting PCI-E now is useless, getting it in 3 years is worth it.
