Agozer
Why would you want to play any PS2 game on an emulator?
Tsukiyo
Because i can't play back ups on my ps2 because I don't have a mod chip. Where can i download UltrISO? Edited August 26, 2004 by Tsukiyo
Agozer
Because i can't play back ups on my ps2 because I don't have a mod chip. Where can i download UltrISO?You won't find an emulator that would play commercial games more that 4fps. Don't bother. No home-user PC is fast enough to emulate a PS2 at full speed (to be blunt, that would need a super computer.) Tsukiyo
Really??? I didn't know Ps2 was that fast. I thought any computer could run it since a computer can run psx and dreamcast.

Agozer
Really??? I didn't know Ps2 was that fast. I thought any computer could run it since a computer can run psx and dreamcast. Two very different systems and compared to the PS2 and a lot slower. There's a general guideline in emulation: You'll need roughl 10x - 15x faster PC than the clockspeed of the system that is being emulated. This applies to most systems, but in some cases the requirements skyrocket.
Ryuken
so most pc is faster than ps2 but not fast enough to emulate it?
