Can somebody please tell me how to get rid of the sound that keeps coming on every time you open a folder or click something on the Internet? I'm SICK of it scatting and be-bopping all over my tunes forcing me to turn the volume down...

Please tell me which file is responsible for this frustrating annoyance so I can delete/rename the swine. Or is it not that easy?

I'm on Windows XP Home.

Thank You.

Goto Control Panel --> Sound and Sound Devixces (or something similar) --> the second tab. Remove all the sounds you don't want.

My intro and outro music are samples!

Thanks but I always use that. (My 'critical stop' sound is "f you f ball" as said by Harvey Keitel at the end of Get Shorty)

Anyway, that particular sound isn't in there that's why I need another way to get rid of just that one son of a gun.

Any other ideas?

The sound should be there if it's the sound that plays when you browse folders and such.

Thanks.

I found the little bug*er. It's called "Start Navigation".

I could have sworn I'd been through them all before to see if that was in there about four times. oh well, thanks again.
