End of Acclaim?

Is this truely the end? Because I was really starting to like their "Legends" franchise.

Acclaim didn't have many good games. I liked Turok's though...

 

And NBA Jam. Bitches.

Yeah...somehow Acclaim isn't bringing up any memories...NBA Jam comes up now that you've said it...I just can't think of any others.

Yeah, NBA Jam was Acclaim's staple (and MAYBE Turok, if you guys remember), but other than that, they're just done. Thank God EA swiped Criterion from Acclaim, or we wouldn't see Burnout 3 (which I'm hella buying) next week.

NBA Jam was by Midway, who were responsible for MK, wargods and other such trash. Ack-lame only did the console ports.

Same here as those games made in SNES version are my favs. The latest Turok series, Turok Evolution, in which I just finished month ago was not very well-doned IMO.

 

Big possibility that will be another big company wants to buy Acclaim.

I didn't even know they were still around. But meh, I don't care. The last game I remember their name on that I liked was NBA Jam TE.

well acclaim did do 2 arcade games that i can remember and thoses 2 were NBA Jam Extreme and Batman Forever, both sucked and got ported to ps1 and saturn. and who can forget the god awful simpsons games they did for nes/genesis/snes/gameboy.

 

proly the only release i liked that came from acclaim was the bubble bobble collection they did for ps1/saturn cuz the rest of their stuff was just badly done (anyone know whats the number 1 worst game for ps1? i'll give you a hint: F4 )
