Iori Yagami
my girlfriend and I are having our 6 month anniversary soon. I know what I want to give her. First off:1) a dreamcast2) Project justice 3) I'd also Like to give her the import version of CvS2 I know you need a boot disc to play import games.I heard there's a way to DL an ISO and burn it yourself.is this true? and also where's a good place to shop for import DC games? 4) She had a genesis growing up, so she loves sonic.I've heard there's a Genesis emulator for the dreamcast. if it exists is it possible to make disc with all the genesis sonic games, including Sonic CD? I have the ISO + mp3s of sonic CD. 5) I'd also like to give her SvC: Chaos. but there is no ****ing way I'm paying $50 for the PS2 version. is true there's a neogeo emulator for the DC?I have the Kawaks Loader 1.46 version of SvC, will it work? yeah I realize the pinned topics should explain most if not all of this. but there's so much I need to learn I don't know where to begin thanks in advance
Gryph
Ok. 1) You can get a used Dreamcast from Ebay for hella cheap. I got mine for $26 dollars and it came with 2 controllers, 2 VMUs, and 6 games. 2) You can also find that on Ebay. I can't really tell you where to find the ISOs. If you had 100 posts then it would be all well. 3) You can get that from Ebay. Or from other places...again 100 posts needed. You don't need a bootdisc for CvS2. Atleast I don't have to use one and no one else I know does. You can shop on Lik-Sang or Play Asia for imports. 4) Go to http://www.dcemulation.com/ and see what emulators they have. 5) I don't think NeoGeo emulation on Dreamcast can handle SvC Chaos. You can't use Kawaks on the DC. Good luck.
ken_cinder
I know you need a boot disc to play import games.I heard there's a way to DL an ISO and burn it yourself.is this true? Yes, you can find Utopia and use it. and also where's a good place to shop for import DC games? Play Asia, Lik Sang (Shipping costs are usually more than Play Asia, with items selling for the same prices) and Ebay. I've heard there's a Genesis emulator for the dreamcast. if it exists is it possible to make disc with all the genesis sonic games, including Sonic CD? I have the ISO + mp3s of sonic CD. Yes there are Genesis emulators for Dreamcast, they aren't all that great. And none support Sega CD games right now. Get the Sega Smash Pack, it has a Sonic game on it. For emulators, try DCEmulation is true there's a neogeo emulator for the DC?I have the Kawaks Loader 1.46 version of SvC, will it work? There is, and it only supports smaller, older NG games. No chance in hell of getting this game to run right now. I hope that covers it.......

Shibathedog
another DC owner I dont think sales for the DC have ever gone down, seriously, I work at an EB games now (all the Gamestops went to crap around here) and We still sell the Dreamcasts, and we will get a shipment of like 100 DCs every month, When i was told this i was like what the hell, 100? i didnt think they sold that well. But within the first week they will pretty much all be gone, this one buy came in and bought like 30 of them right there in one visit. We dont even really have that many games for em, but we certainly have systems.
