James
for some stupid reason it fails to notice my v roms this is very simple to do You have must the encrypted V roms and make sure the vconv.exe is in the same folder as the v roms Source272-v1.bin CRC:76A94127272-v2.bin CRC:4bA507F1Target272-v1d.bin CRC 32156CFE272-v2d.bin CRC 0E46D2F8272-v3d.bin CRC 9AA45090272-v4d.bin CRC AD8FABB4 Edited September 15, 2004 by James
N3oGhost
If you all want to try it here it is. I rewrote the txt file (in english now). basic instructions (this includes a BAT that will merge the 4 roms it creates). From the Readme.txtRun vconv.exe on the following roms(place these roms in this directory before running):272-v1.bin CRC:76A94127272-v2.bin CRC:4bA507F1 This will create the following:272-v1d.bin CRC 32156CFE272-v2d.bin CRC 0E46D2F8272-v3d.bin CRC 3F0F7554272-v4d.bin CRC AD8FABB4 Then run JOIN.BAT if you wish to merge those roms.samshospVpatch.zip Edited September 15, 2004 by N3oGhost

Gryph
Geez...now the sound is even worse than before. What the hell... EDIT: Oops, I didn't merge them. Stupid me. Edited September 15, 2004 by GryphonKlaw
N3oGhost
well supposedly those V roms that we create with the Encrypted set are the actual Samurai Shodown V Special Sound roms......... reason it would sound even worse is that your now using a SSV M rom to run SSVS V roms.......... I would expect it would be much worse now cuz before you were using SSV M rom and SSV V roms....... until the M1d for SSV SPECIAL is released, don't expect to enjoy the sound for this game.
