ken_cinder Posted September 8, 2004 Author Posted September 8, 2004 if i was u then i would just cover a case with lego. lolNow where is the fun in that? Or the imagination?
BoomBa_GoosE Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 sounds fun....i hope it doesnt melt...
Alpha Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 sounds fun....i hope it doesnt melt...Seriously, I would worry about that. You really should makesure that you have a good cooling system and so that there is a lot of ventilation, otherwise you'll be smelling burnt plastic.
boofnasty Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 (edited) They are mostly mega-bloks, those suck. Not bad for $10 though. If I had a choice to build a case it would be with Lego Technic pieces. Oh and one thing is how are you going to ground everything? Edited September 9, 2004 by boofnasty
ken_cinder Posted September 9, 2004 Author Posted September 9, 2004 (edited) Cost me over $100 to get enough pieces of mainly 2x4 blocks if they are Lego brand. Trust me, I went to the online Lego store. As for everything being sold on Ebay, it's all messes of Lego flags, wheels and junk, or pre-designed sets (When did everyone lose their imagination? Lego is coming out with too much pre-set design lego kits these days, ,and not enough big ass buckets of plain blocks) As for it melting, do your fans melt in your case? Does the fan on your CPU or GPU melt? (Though some are metal fans, not all are)It's not like the temperatures inside a PC case get that high even WITHOUT any fans. lol Edited September 9, 2004 by IJTF_Cinder
Wizard Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 If you put more then 8, You shall be my new god of fans.
boofnasty Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 It would be nice if you had a few technic pieces and used the axles for screws and standoffs and such, just the grounding issue to worry about.
Jiggs Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 This is awesome. You definately need to supply pictures when you get done.
Ghosty Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 It would be nice if you had a few technic pieces and used the axles for screws and standoffs and such, just the grounding issue to worry about.Wow Still Loading After Like 15 mins, Damn 56k. And Really Use Technic Parts They Are A Lot Better(Rods, Screws, Ect). And Great Idea!
Jiggs Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Guys, you're forgetting about those base pieces that all the sets are built upon. I'm sure Cinder has one that's big enough laying around.
