Cyderjack
I have an interesting suggestion. Since i've been playing Mame, I realized that we are spoiled with unlimited continues. Which after a while takes the challenge away to the point that i don't care if i die because i can continue on. It would be cool to have post with a list of games where people suggest a fair amount of continues on the average that would post a fair challenge on each game.I don't know if this site does a voting imput where after a while depending on how many votes the number would even out. Obviously this would just be used as a guide line. I guess the one thing that i do like on consoles are the limited continues.(when it's fair) And i know what many people will say...Well don't press for extra credits...But you true gamers know thats not easy:) Any thoughts and suggestions are welcomed
shin_nihon_kikaku
I NEVER continue in any mame game. I will play all games with one credit and play up to the point I die. Then have another go and try and beat my score, and so on and so on. Every so often I will continue thru to the end of the game to see everything that happens. But only if it seems impossible to complete it on 1 credit. Games like Final Fight, Robocop and Metal Slug need to be played thru once and I'm not a good enough player to do it on 1 credit. I will only do this every so often and play the games on 1 credit every time before and after seeing the whole game. I always let the continue run down to zero and have another go on every Mame game. It makes playing for score worthwhile.

Agozer
Spoiled with unlimited continues? hardly. Just don't put so many credits in and adjust the dipswitches to your liking.
