Blitter comparison

Okay this is just a comparison between the video blitters on winkawaks.

 

 

This is normal no scanlines:

I prefer Super 2xSaI, but can't remember if Winkawaks had that.

 

Anyway, does this thread have a meaning other than showcasing blitters?

I use normal blitter because it just looks normal. And yes, Kawaks has 2xSAI; it's under Kreed Blitters.

I'd rather go with HQxx filters, but meh, Kawaks doesn't have those (or then I'm blind).

Same here Agozer. I definitely prefer HQ2x + HQ4x to any other filters.

HQxx filters come out even worse than not using filters in my view.

 

The curves look awful and the computer slows down a lot...

 

and my comp can run doom3 at medium so I don' think its because of my computer.

 

Am I doing something wrong?

I disagree, but you are correct in one aspect though: HQxx filters are extremely CPU dependant, especially 3x and 4x.
