shin_nihon_kikaku Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 I'm having trouble with a CD image of Crash Team Racing on ePSXe. It all runs perfectly until entering the first stage (or any stage for that matter). When it attempts to load the stage the emulator quits. Here is an image of the message box after it has quit. What's causing this? Thanks.
Weirdy Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 heheheh, I guess you can still have a corrupted memory card on a emu. But I guess it's a good sign, it shows how good psx emulation currently is. Anyways, have you tried deleting your memory card files?
Weirdy Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 Don't use 1.5.2, use 1.6.0hehehheh...damn, I just barely was able to tell he was using that version It got all blurry cause he saved the pic in gif format
shin_nihon_kikaku Posted September 12, 2004 Author Posted September 12, 2004 Don't use 1.5.2, use 1.6.0It got all blurry cause he saved the pic in gif format Actually it's a JPEG saved at 1 quality in photoshop. I'm guessing Agozer saw the start of the text, it says version on there. I'll try upgrading ePSXe and changing memory cards. In that order.
shin_nihon_kikaku Posted September 12, 2004 Author Posted September 12, 2004 (edited) I tried both things and it still doesnt load any stage. Could it be something to do with my plug-ins and plug-in settings? It says Crash Team Racing works 100% perfect on the compatibility list. Please give some more suggestions on the problem. I'm not surprised it's called CRASH team racing... Edited September 12, 2004 by shin_nihon_kikaku
Agozer Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 You might have corrupted memcard files. No plugin should interfere with the actual emulation that badly.
shin_nihon_kikaku Posted September 13, 2004 Author Posted September 13, 2004 No I already said that I have tried both things you suggested. I deleted my memcard files and tried again and it still does the same thing. It must be something else.
