I don't even use WMP on my PC to open WMAs, MP3s, AVIs, and MPEGs. BSP all the way.

I use winamp pro.

I suppose it works just as well...

My favorite DSP plug in = simply surround

 

it makes everything sound.....freakin' amazing , try it

 

though for videos I use Media Player Classic cause it's so simple

BSPlayer is the best. I never use Winamp to play videos, I always thought there was something fundametally wrong with it. But I'll try out that Simply Surround plugin.

I just turn up the volume really really loud since I got 4.1.

 

There used to be a way to tweak you're winamp to play it all on seperate channels.

It's doesn't really matter. Winamp 3 was shite, but had a few awesome features. Winamp 5 combines the awesomeness of 2 and 3.

np, btw, I've noticed with simply surround there's not much bass, so just move the first lever on the equalizer which is the bass (the one that says '60')
