Are the companies that made them going after them or something? and why would they not be banned on the PC? There a gajillion more PC emulator users than xbox emulator users... There a gajillion more PC emulator users than xbox emulator users...The most probable answer is that they don't want to get sued by game companies because they made the emulator support a new game "too early" on. Thraxen Posted September 19, 2004 Share Posted September 19, 2004 "Banned ROMS" refers to ROMS less than 3 years old. The MAME developers do not officially support games less than three years old. Other emulators developers, like the FBA team, follow this rule as well. You can find versions of these emulators that support the newer games, but these are not "official" releases.
