Your rom set is named wrong Thats the name of the encrypted set.

And Why does is it have 15 for the fix ? when you allready have the S rom for the Text data.

Only one V rom is used as well.

Hi.

I was able to get all the sound roms, but there's an issue. Some of the higher pitched sounds (such as the splattering in Sujia and Rasetsumaru's overkills) and energy explosion when performing an overkill are missing. Others like in Kusaregedo's overkill crackle when they play. I tried to the m1d patch in this thread and it didn't solve anything. I'm using Kawaks as my emulator. Is there any patch for the m1 rom that can solve these sound issues? Thanks in advance.

Hey James, just a quick question. Does using an encrypted set offer anything more than the knowledge that your emulator is doing all the work of the MVS? I mean, isn't the first thing the emulator does to decrypt all the encrypted roms anyway? I just don't see if using an encrypted set actually changes the output of the emulator at all, and if it doesn't, then isn't the decrypted set basically just as accurate (just a little pre-chewed)?

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't these V roms incorrect for the decrypted set?

I know i still need the m1....

arg....my search shall continue...

i hate to break it to you but those V ROMs are for SSV (not Special)

I found that out last night...arg.

I cant find the actual Samsho5sp ANYWHERE.

I just did those moves in practice mode and I can't hear the squishes either.

Any decrypted set after 1998 are not true dumps.and in some cases the decrypted set have been patched (hacked) just so they can work without code.... In Mame there is simple code that does all that and leaves the rom intact So that means the encrypted set would be more accurate than the decrypted set

Hey James, will the new Clone Mame PLUS! (0.88u4) support the decrypted set of SSVS?

my encrypted set matches yours except the CRCs for the C files... all my Cs seem to match what everyone else has... :)

what everyone else has is the decrypted set What is the file size of the set you have ?

And no Clone Mame plus will not support the decrypted set.

James-

54.1 MB

Is that correct?

i tried to match everything you had in the first post in this thread...

everything seems to match exactly except the CRCs of the C files.

it loads in Clone Mame after saying the M1 could not be found, and may not work properly-

the funny thing is- the sound is perfect! (not the garbled sound you get from the old m1) but its the GRAPHICS that are jumbled, i see a blocky mess.

these are the exact files in the rom i tried to use in clone mame:
