Swithin Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 I don't think the shrink cheat works on shrink/no powerbars in neb/kawaks. Actually, the no-powerbar sets up a "distance meter" between characters. I don't think there's a fix for this.
[S4]The Phantom Posted November 16, 2004 Posted November 16, 2004 Currently my mame plays all the sounds perfectly, and I have 2 different compilations of MAME, one has a messed up background and the other has no problems at all. Everything sounds like it should. I personally think different compilations sound different, although it's only a speculation.
KyokugenKiss Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 and i dont buy that video filters crap either, as none of those are in the real machines, so are the macros.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> you have obviously never played in mexico or in south america in general, most of the screens if not all have the scanlines, and some around here have different filters too, like the SVC chaos at my local arcade has terribe chopy looking quality and its far smoother looking on kawaks

KyokugenKiss Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 naw, they just have crappy screens, well the ones by resort areas anyways although i think its a cultural thing because last time i went to D.F (mexico city) i went to this very nice arcade and they had brand new games (like guilty gear newst DDR blah blah blah) but the bussiest machines there were the 4 old mvs machines and and Pacman/Ms Pacman and old school Donkey Kong were Mario is the good guy
