Why does that look edited to me? It probably isnt, its just weird.

Hey its a good idea though, it will probably eliminate modchips entirely!

head of Sony:Hey i got an idea! instead of wasting all this money on disc copy protection and advanced sector encryption and crap we should put some really basic CD protection in there, and then make it so small, there will be no room for a mod-chip!!

ok ok he never said that..

i think das true even if they didn't say they might've thought about it

Also in more news.. it has been confirmed that the PSTwo won't have a Hard Drive in it.

Also interestingly, the drive is top-loading as you can see in the screenshot below which will obviously cut down prices in the manufacturing of the PSTwo. :(

Any possibility of a horizontal stand and ability to side load (I haven't look around for that info)?

I dunno, but I don't even like having my ps2 (original one that is) on its side. It just seems unnatural to me.

apparently there are ppl who think doing that helps bypass "Disc Read Error". The games migth boot up, but they're only making it worse

I personally don't do the whole stand on it's side thing, I'm just wondering. It's slimer that Slim Shady on a crack binge...you gotta be able to deal with it on its side. Oh yeah, I meant Vertical stand btw, but you guys figured that out quick.
