Gryph Posted October 23, 2004 Author Share Posted October 23, 2004 Do you have a credit card or access to one? You can still preorder either from a retail outlet or preload (prepay) with Steam. Silver package from Steam is definitely the best deal since you basically get everything and it's only $5 more than the cheapest retail. You'll have to preload all of it though, but you have till Nov. 16 to do that and the Steam servers are hella fast so that should be no problem if you are on broadband. Oh yeah, you should almost make sure you have atleast 5 gigs set aside just for HL2. If you decided to install stuff from the back catalogue, you'll need more room.
