Gryph Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 Mel Brooks is writing a sequel to Spaceballs, the funniest sci-fi movie parody ever. This is just too cool, I was afraid that he wouldn't do any more movies since his last one was Dracula Dead and Loving It back in the mid 90s. Hopefully this will be as funny as the first one. http://comingsoon.net/news.php?id=6547
Agozer Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I'm more surprised that Mel Brooks is still in the business.
Gryph Posted September 29, 2004 Author Posted September 29, 2004 I'm more surprised that Mel Brooks is still in the business.Well he is the producer and writer for the super hit Broadway muscial adaptation of his movie "The Producers." And I'm sure you've also heard this news but Kevin Smith is working on Clerks 2. Two sequels to two classic comedies are being made...awesome.

Dooz Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I love Mel Brooks, but I hated Spaceballs. Maybe because I hated Star Wars as well.
Aoshi Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I wonder if they would reprise the actors roles from the original or would it be based on the prequals of star wars???
Shibathedog Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 OMG!!! UB3R!!!! I have to admit im more excited about Clerks 2, but this one is right behind it
Wizard Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 OMG!!! UB3R!!!! I have to admit im more excited about Clerks 2, but this one is right behind it It better be in black and white for no reason what so ever. Or be included as a DVD option...or I can just turn off all color on my TV.
Shibathedog Posted September 30, 2004 Posted September 30, 2004 yeah, that would be cool if they had the original actors too, but i heard one of the clerks guys died (probably bullshit though)
